He remembers *all* of your past convos.

Hermes has both contextual and persistent memory, and autonomously searches the live web when he’s unsure.

He operates effortlessly in a multi-user environment.

It’s like ChatGPT-4 on steroids.

Now available on Slack, *Discord, and *MS-Teams chat.

*stay tuned for updates!

Update2:

Claude3 and Gemini1.5 has made Hermes pretty much obsolete, thanks to their 200k – 1million tokens capacity (cgpt4 only had 32k max up to this point).

As such, im only turning on Hermes when specifically requested; otherwise its turned off, cuz it costs me money to keep Hermes running for no reason.

Hope you understand! <3

Update1:

Hermes was hand-coded from the ground up and completed in April-May 2023. Back then, there was no Langchain, no RAG; there was zero AI with short term memory, long-term memory, nor live web search. not even ChatGPT *Plus*.

as of today however, ChatGPT Plus itself now finally has:
1) live bing search
2) short term memory
3) pdf-read abilities, etc

ChatGPT Plus still doesnt have:
1) long-term memory
2) multi-user operability

Hermes is just a tech-demonstrator for companies and potential employers. *NOT for public/ general testing*.

What's Hermes?

Not only is Hermes fully private and secure, he is also ultra-fast, limited only by the capabilities of OpenAI’s APIs.

  1. Hermes has full-autonomy on deciding when he should search either (or both) his memories, and the web, when he’s unsure.

  2. He can even search your company’s database/ knowledgebase, to deliver custom solutions, such as Customer Service, or Domain Expertise.

  3. His long-term memory allows him to remember several million messages at the basic level (limited only by your budget).

  4. His contextual memory remembers intricate conversation details.

  5. His live web-search capabilities are near-instantaneous, and very accurate and relevant.

  6. Hermes operates effortlessly in a multi-user environment. 100-person team? No problem.

Why Hermes?

Hermes is powered by GPT-4, so he already comes with all those bells and whistles. But Hermes can do much more.

  1. Project Management: Hermes can help in project management by setting reminders, assigning tasks, providing project status updates, and storing crucial project data. It can also facilitate virtual meetings by offering automated transcription services.

  2. Team Assistant: Hermes’ perfect recall ability allows teams to refer back to it for extracting important details from past discussions that may have been buried in weeks, months, or even years of text and chats.

  3. Customer Support: Hermes can serve as the first line of customer support, handling queries with its ability to remember past interactions and search the web for relevant information. It’s availability on platforms like Slack, Discord, and MS-Teams makes it easily accessible for customer interactions.

  4. Upskilling/ Tutoring: As a corporate learning tool, Hermes can provide comprehensive understanding and training on a wide range of professional topics, including SOPs, workflows, business processes, and even new languages and programming languages.

  1. Personal Assistant: Hermes can act as a personal assistant, nutritionist, instructor, trainer, dietician, and fulfill any other roles that one can think of.

  2. Preliminary Healthcare: Hermes can provide preliminary patient education and symptom analysis, helping users understand their symptoms, provide information on potential causes, and advise when a doctor’s consultation is necessary. (Hermes should not replace professional medical advice).

  3. Financial and Data Analysis: Hermes can assist with financial analysis by providing insights into financial data, helping with budget planning, and offering recommendations based on financial trends and indicators.
